The teaching case that Martina Pasquini and I wrote about the sustainable fashion brand ECOALF is now published.
The teaching case highlights the first years of the innovative, Madrid-based fashion brand ECOALF, which offers innovative products made out of, amongst other things, ocean waste. The case was used in the first BBA Case Challenge at IE Business School Madrid, where 8 teams from international universities and business schools presented solutions to deal with the challenges that ECOALF was facing in the first years after it was founded.
The teaching case can be used in courses on accounting (last week, for instance, I used it to explain financial ratio analyses), but also in courses on strategy, business ethics, innovation and CSR.
An inspection copy of the case and the teaching note can be obtained from the website of IE publishing. If you have any questions about the content of the case or its usability, feel free to contact me!
